Came here for dinner with some friends and was pleased with the service and food.
Stopped by after a day in Golden Gate Park and was happy that we were able to very quickly be seated. As we were all a little tired from the sun, we decided to order some delicious iced coffee. Once we caffeinated, we order the corn salad to share and I had the pork Bella quesadilla - all of which was excellent! While we didn't order cocktails this visit, the options looked fantastic and I would definitely consider one in the future.
Overall: great spot for a delicious meal with friends! -

We were in the city after a very long time and my wife had this place bookmarked, so we wanted to give it a try.
We went around 1:30pm on a Sunday and the place was still busy. We were seated promptly and our waiter had some good suggestions for vegetarians. Our daughter loves guacamole, so we got a small side of chips and guac.
We ordered the totopos, veggie quesadilla, huarache co hongos and the corn with cream and spices.
To begin with, the complimentary spiced garbanzo beans are delicious. We loved the totopos and the corn but both the "entrees" i.e; the quesadilla and the the hauarache were a big disappointment
The quesadilla had large chunks of sweet potato in it which really did not go well with the cheese and tortilla and the unsalted spice oil. The huarache was just bland and oily.
We absolutely loved every bite of the totopos and the corn and our daughter loved the garbanzo beans, chips and guacamole.
This can be a good place to stop by for a quick bite.
Oh! They also have a good selection of local beers and I got something called Berryessa mexican lager and it was crisp and very refreshing -

Decided to come here for a late lunch after spending the morning at the California Academy of Sciences after reading the yelp reviews. The hostess was extremely unhelpful and told us we would need to wait over an hour. There were no people waiting and we could see some people were already finishing up there meals. We knew that it wouldn't be that long a wait. We walked about a few minutes and couldn't find anything to our liking so came back and we were seated right away. Took off the one star due to the hostess' attitude.
Now to the good, the summer Salad with tomatoes was really refreshing. The guacamole was pretty good too. We ordered a bunch of dishes, the ones I had were the quesadilla de Calabaza (with vegetables) and Huarache con Hongos. I loved the blue corn tortillas and the flavors. -

Most terrible Mexican restaurant I ever been. Even Chipotle is much better. I regret indeed.
My boyfriend was the one who found this restaurant and suggested let's try it out. I checked yelp review and their recent review was 3.5 so I said I have a bad feeling about it.
We waited 20 minutes for seating. We wait another 30 minutes for food. I thought Mexican food is fast food.
When our food was here. Looks disappointed. Taste oily. And oil tastes like already been recycled for all day. Oil tastes smoky, dirty. And all those horrible flavor got suck into the tortilla. Please change your oil. Please . Please!!!!!! Don't reuse frying oil!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!!
The best part of my meal is cilantro. Because it's raw, it's uncooked, haven't been polluted by that all day old recycle using cheap oil.
This place probably is good for getting drunk but not for food. Terrible. Low point of my day! -

3.5 stars. They do have some tables outside which is nice since I had my fur baby with me. Another bonus is that they have a parking lot so don't need to worry about that.
The strawberry almond horchata was delicious. A must order when visiting. The totopos were meh. It was alright but it's just chips dunked in red sauce with some cheese sprinkled on top. The cheese is mild in flavor and there was so little cheese you couldn't really taste it. Also got the quesadilla roja con chicharron. It was really good! The flavors along with the masa of the quesadilla was yum! This isn't your average quesadilla.
Overall, it seems they might have a few dishes that are worth trying but it seems pretty overpriced. I only got one drink, an appetizer and an entree and it was almost $35. Might be good if you just want a snack and not something to fill you up.
